Khanna police officials to now get weekly off

Representative ImageLUDHIANA: In view of the hectic nature of job and prolonged duty hours, the Khanna police, for the welfare of its force, has now decided to allow weekly rest for its officials, right from the rank of a constable to Non Gazetted Officers.
Balwinder Singh Bhikhi, SP (Headquarter), Khanna informed that this weekly rest has been allowed as per the directions SSP Khanna.
He said that from now on, every Khanna police official would be eligible for a weekly rest so that he can spend time with his/her family. Bhikhi said that in view of these new orders, all unit in charges have been directed to prepare a duty roster so that the working of police force does not suffer.
He said that the officials can now enjoy weekly rest and can take care of their health as well as their families.
