Watch Nitwit Driver Pull A Mustang In An Infiniti Q50

Ford Mustang owners don’t have the best rep, but this Infiniti Q50 driver decided to give them a run for their money.

In a short dashcam video, you can see what appears to be a fairly typical commute. The only hint that something is amiss comes at the six second mark when you can see the driver of the Q50 hit the gas, as they’re making a turn, to get the rear end to swing out.

The driver begins to straighten the car out, but apparently jerks the steering wheel in an attempt to avoid a Toyota Camry that pulled out in front of them. The driver quickly loses control and the Infiniti goes sliding into incoming traffic.

Luckily, the owner of the dashcam-equipped vehicle slammed on the brakes and managed to avoid being hit. They stopped a few feet short of the Q50 which slides up onto the sidewalk before coming to a rest.

While this would be the point where most drivers would learn to cool it, our hero isn’t done being stupid. After stopping for about a second, the driver floors it and makes a U-turn with little regard for oncoming traffic.

The entire incident is reckless and likely the result of someone trying to show off on public roads. That’s never a good idea, but thankfully no one was injured this time around.

It remains unclear if the driver learned their lesson, but the dashcam caught a pretty clear glimpse of the license plate if authorities want to investigate.
