TNPSC Recruitment 2019: Apply for Assistant Agricultural Officer posts, pay scale Rs 20600 - 65500

Representational Image NEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has invited applications for Direct Recruitment to the post of Assistant Agricultural Officer only through online mode.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website - tnpsc.gov.in/ up to January 27, 2019.
Selected candidates will recruited in the Level 10 pay scale i.e., from Rs 20600 - Rs 65500.

Note: Applicants can avail exemption from paying examination fees as per eligibility criteria.
Examination fee of R s.100 /- (Rupees One Hundred only is payable online through Net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or it can be paid offline at SBI/Indian Bank within two days from the date of submission of online application, by choosing the option in the online application.
Offline mode of payment in the form of Demand Draft/postal order etc., will not be accepted and the applications forwarded with such modes of payment will be summarily rejected.
AGE LIMIT (as on July 1, 2018)
Age Concession
For Differently Abled Persons (Others): Up to 10 years
For Ex -servicemen (Others): Ex-Servicemen are eligible for age concession up to 48 years of age.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: (as on 27. 12.2018)
1) Must have passed Higher Secondary (plus two) Examination.
2) Must possess two years Diploma in Agriculture from the Institutions recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu or affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University
KNOWLEDGE IN TAMIL
Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil on the date of this Notification.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination, the tentative list of eligible candidates for certificate verification will be announced in the Commission's website. After verification of the original certificates, the eligible candidates will be summoned for final selection through counselling method.
ADMIT CARD
The Hall Tickets for eligible applicants will be made available in the Commission's Website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net or www.tnpscexams.in for downloading the same by the applicants. No Hall Tickets will be sent by post.
