In reference to the government shutdown and the border wall: Here are just two ideas of ways to open the government again so that the people are able to receive their pay which they deserve and earned.

Start a collection. The president should be the first to donate, as well as anyone who feels that the wall is necessary.

The president, as well as all of Congress, can take a cut in pay for however long it takes to raise the money for the wall. How long would that last? I think not very long. As when it affects their income, a solution will be found that everyone can and will agree on.
