Ranji Trophy, Karnataka vs Rajasthan Day 2 highlights: Rajasthan 11/0 at stumps, trail by 28 runs

The umpires have removed the bails and Rajasthan reach 11/0 at stumps on Day 2. As players walk back to the pavilion everyone comes and shakes hands with Vinay Kumar who scored an unbeaten 83 helping Karnataka reach 263 runs, before R Chahar dismissed R More on 10.  

R Chahar completes his fifer as he traps Ronit More on 10. More constructed a crucial partnership with Vinay Kumar, who remained unbeaten on 83. The duo added 97 runs for the final wicket as Karnataka were bowled out for 263 and are leading by 39 runs.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan openers Amit Kumar Gautam and Chetan Bist are out in the middle to start the innings.

Vinay Kumar and R More help Karnataka edge past the 250-run mark. Kumar in batting on 79 and his partner More is on 10. KAR:255/9 (lead by 31 runs)

An excellent inning by Vinay Kumar as he completes his half-century and rescues Karnataka from trouble. Kumar and R More add 65-runs for the final wicket and help Karnataka take lead. Kumar is batting on 56, while More has brilliantly supported his partner and scored 9 runs in 40 deliveries.   

Vinay Kumar and Ronit More have taken their partnership for the 10th wicket over 50 runs. They are battling hard in the middle and are hoping to take the lead.

Back for the final session of the day - Ronit More and Vinay Kumar in the middle. Rahul Chahar, who has taken four wickets, is on the attack. Can he complete a fifer?

TEA on Day 2- Excellent performance from the last pair of Karnataka - Vinay Kumar and Ronit More. The duo added 47 runs for the final wicket and still counted. If Karnataka can take a lead of 10-20 runs here, it could make a huge difference. 

Aniket Chaudhary appeals for an LBW against Vinay Kumar. He is bowling over the stumps so the angle was steep and, the umpire was not interested in it at all. Karnataka trailing by 16 runs.

Vinay Kumar and Ronit More have added 39 runs for the 10th wicket. The duo have taken Karnataka over 200-run mark. Karnataka are 205/9, trailing by 19 runs. 

Vinay Kumar along with Ronit More add 30 runs for the final wicket. While Vinay is doing most of the work, More is brilliantly supporting his partner by staying at the other end. Karnataka are four runs away from reaching the 200-run mark.  

WICKET! Abhimanyu Mithun tries to swing his bat, but the ball takes an inside edge and knocks the off-stumps. Some words were exchanged between Deepak Chahar and the batsman. Mithun was clearly unhappy with Chahar's celebration. Meanwhile, R More walks out in the middle as Karnataka lose their 8th wicket. KAR: 168/9

WICKET! Shreys Gopal's resistance comes to an end and Rahul Chahar gets another wicket. The ball kept low, wrapped on the pads and a huge appeal from Rajasthan. The umpire raised his fingers. KAR 155/8

K Gowtham departs after scoring 19 runs. The batsmen was surprised as the ball kept very low and Gowtham failed to make any contact. The ball goes and hits the middle stump. Vinay Kumar is the new man at the crease as Karnataka trail by 70 runs.   KAR: 154/7

There is a good partnership building between Shreyas Gopal and K Gowtham. The duo have added 25 runs together and the trail has come down to just 75 runs.

WICKET! Fantastic low catch at midwicket by M Lomror and Rahul Chahar gets the wicket of BR Sharath. HE departs for 4. Karnataka are really struggling at the moment. KAR 124/6

WICKET!  Tanveer cleans him up - he has been on fire since the morning. Gets the prized wicket of KV Siddarth for 52. Karnataka half way down for 119.

Tanveer Ul-Haq starts off the attack in the second session. Shreyas Gopal on the non-striker's end and Siddarth KV takes the strike. HERE WE GO!

Lunch on Day 2: Good session for Rajasthan. They managed four scalps, including the big ones of Manish Pandey and Karun Nair KAR-115/4 (38 ovs), Karnataka trail by 109 runs

With a single, 100 comes up for Karnataka. They are still four wickets down. However, they are still trailing by 124. KAR- 100/4

Chetan Bist has put a sitter. What a big wicket this would have been!Could have gone with both hands. In the end, can't latch onto it, Siddharth survives. KAR- 95/4

TM Ul-Haq it is once again! Manish Pandey departs for 7. The angle from around the wicket is working well for the bowler. KAR- 90/4, trail by 134 runs

LBW! Samarth is trapped in front by Rahul Chahar. A tossed up delivery around off, Samarth R comes on his front foot but gets beaten in flight. KARNATAKA 61/2

50 up for Karanataka, Siddharth and Samarth keeping it steady. KAR- 60/1

Krishnamurthy Siddharth and Ravikumar Samarth are keeping things steady in the middle. Meanwhile, left-arm seamer TM Ul Haq is brought into the attack. KAR- 42/1

First blow for Karnataka! Deepak Chahar gets rid off Dega Nischal for 6. Just enough movement outside the off stump to take the edge. Chahar is a happy man. needs to continue with this line. KAR- 17/1
