Highlights

17:09(IST)

STUMPS has been called in the remaining venues as well. Here are the final scores at the end of Day 2:

Vidarbha - 260/1 in 69 overs (SR Ramaswamy 112*, Wasim Jaffer 111*) trail by 95 runs against Uttarakhand

Kerala - 171/10 in 59 overs (Jalaj Saxena 44*). Gujarat need 195 runs to win

Rajasthan - 11/0 in 3 overs (AV Gautam 11*, Chetan Bist 0*) trail by 28 runs against Karnataka.

Saurashtra - 170/7 in 55 overs (D Jadeja 9*, Prerak Mankad 42*) trail by 215 runs against Uttar Pradesh.

17:01(IST)

INNINGS END and STUMPS! Samson has been dismissed. He is upset with the call as the ball had taken an inside edge. He was brave in facing the bowlers, including the pacers with one hand! Jalaj Saxena farmed the strike for a while and Kerala has been bowled out for 171. Gujarat need 195 runs to win.

16:49(IST)

INNINGS END! The final wicket has come for Rajasthan. Rohit More has been dismissed by Rahul Chahar, who has taken his fifth wicket. Karnataka have a lead of 39 runs.

16:45(IST)

WOW! Sanju Samson has come out to bat. It was initially considered that he will not come out to bat after the finger injury but he is out there, trying to ensure that his side can post a few runs more in the all-important game.

16:40(IST)

Meanwhile, in Nagpur, SR Ramaswamy has joined Wasim Jaffer by scoring a century himself. Uttarakhand's lead is now just 115 against Vidharba has nine wickets in hand.

16:33(IST)

Hat-trick! Kalaria has picked up three in a row for Gujarat. He picked up two from the last two ball of his 14th over and now has cleaned M Nidheesh for a duck on the first ball of his 15th over. Stunning! Sandeep Warrier is the final man at the crease as Sanju Samson will not be batting in the second innings due to the finger fracture he suffered in the first innings. Kerala's lead is now 178.

16:27(IST)

WICKET! Back to back wickets for Gujarat. RB Kalaria has brought Gujarat back into the game in just a single over. He first cleaned up Sijumon and then bounced Basil Thampi on the first ball who was only able to loop a simple catch to the long off fielder.

16:25(IST)

Century! Wasim Jaffer has added another century to his incredible First-Class numbers. Vidharba are in an excellent position to take a first innings lead, thanks to the veteran.

16:09(IST)

FIFTY! Excellent knock from Sijumon Joseph, who has gone to register a half-century against Gujarat in the second innings. He came in to bat at a tough situation and has held his end up wonderfully, ensuring that the home side will finish with a competitive target for the visitors to chase. The lead is now 162.

16:02(IST)

FIFTY! Vinay Kumar has gone on to score a half-century for Karnataka. He has single-handedly helped the home side go past Rajasthan's score of 224. He then goes for a massive hit over the leg side for six.

15:58(IST)

And Saurashtra are back in the slump, Shivam Mavi has produced a double-strike to peg back the visitors. Harvik Desai is caught behind for a well-made 84 and K Makwana has been cleaned up on the first ball.

15:49(IST)

SR Ramaswamy and Wasim Jaffer continue to pile on the runs against Uttarakhand. Both players have crossed 80 runs in their innings. The visitors still have a lead of 162 but they will need to produce a massive effort to ensure they still have a lead at the end of the defending champions' first innings.

15:46(IST)

Vinay Kumar is one lucky man! The veteran looked plumb in front off Aniket Choudhary but the umpire doesn't give the decision and it goes down for four. Umpire signal's it as four runs but the ball has clearly missed the bat. It looks like Karnataka will go on to take a lead, which looked unlikely an hour ago.

15:42(IST)

Saurashtra are slowly creeping out of their slump. Harvik Desai has been provided with some much-needed support by Prerak Mankad. The duo's stand has gone past the fifty-run stand. But they still have a deficit close to 250 to deal with.

15:37(IST)
15:19(IST)

Meanwhile, play has resumed in the other three games. Vidharba has crossed 150 against Uttarakhand, Kerala have lost their fifth wicket against Gujarat and Harvik Desai resumes his lone battle against UP.

15:15(IST)

Tea has been taken in Bengaluru as well. 47 runs has been added by the last wicket and it has helped the home side get close to Rajasthan’s target by

Karnataka - 213/9 in 72 overs (Vinay Kumar 38*, Ronit More 9*) trail by 11 runs.

14:54(IST)

Tea has been taken in three games. Here are the scores:

Kerala - 87/4 in 36 overs (Sijomon 32*, Vishnu Vinod 4*) lead by 110 vs Gujarat

Vidarbha - 145/1 in 40 overs (Wasim Jaffer 63*, SR Ramaswamy 52*) trail by 210 vs Uttarakhand

Saurashtra - 101/5 in 38 overs (Prerak Mankad 6*, Harvik Desai 60*) trail by 284 against Uttar Pradesh

14:46(IST)

WICKET! Big scalp for Gujarat - it is Sachin Baby. The Kerala captain has been removed by Axar Patel and is caught by RH Bhatt. Vishnu Vinod now joins Sijumon at crease, who is batting on 32.

14:41(IST)

The hosts are well and truly on top in Lucknow. Saurashtra have lost half their side. Only Harvik Desai has managed to show some fight in their first innings and has crossed fifty. Prerak Mankad is hanging on from the other end.

14:38(IST)

Defending champions Vidharba have a big task at hand to run down Uttarakhand's first innings score, and they have made a strong start. Ramaswamy and Wasim Jaffer have notched up half-centuries and the score is nearing150.

14:33(IST)

In Wayanad, Sijomon and Sachin Baby have stitched together good partnership for the 4th wicket. They have helped Kerala's lead cross the 100-run mark. It is tough conditions for batting and a score close to 200 could prove to match-winning, especially against a firing Kerala seam attack.

14:31(IST)

The last wicket is adding some vital runs for Karnataka. Vinay Kumar is leading the charge for them, having scored 18 from 36 balls already. The home side trail by only 37 runs now.

14:19(IST)

Kerala's lead is approaching the 100-run mark. Given how much success the bowlers have had on this pitch, even a 200-run lead could suffice for them.

14:08(IST)

Karnataka are now nine wickets down and look likely to end the first innings behind Rajasthan. Only a matter of time at this point. Saurashtra have also lost half their side vs. UP.

13:56(IST)

Sheldon Jackson has now been dismissed by Yash Dayal and Saurashtra seem to be in a bit of trouble. They are 80/4 whereas UP made 385 in the first innings. Saurashtra need someone to put their hand up and play a big innings.

13:54(IST)

Vidarbha are 100/1 in 28 overs. They lost Fazal earlier but now seem to be plugging along nicely. This game has been the most competitive quarterfinal thus far, which is amazing considering Uttarakhand played in the Plate division.

13:48(IST)

When it rains it pours and that is exactly what is happening for Rajasthan. Rahul Chahar strikes again and Shreyas Gopal's resistance comes to an end. Karnataka are 154/8.

13:43(IST)

Karnataka seven down now as K Gowtham departs. They are still 72 runs behind Rajasthan's total and are now in real danger of ending the first innings while trailing.

13:34(IST)

And Kerala lose another wicket. Manoharan  departs for 16 off 27 balls having been trapped in front of the stumps by Axar Patel. Kerala are 45/3 and lead by 68 runs.
