Gurugram: Goons open fire at dhaba on Sohna Road, one injured

GURUGRAM: Unknown person fired multiple rounds inside Shree Ram dhaba on Sohna road on Tuesday night and shot at manager. Dhaba manager sustained injuries on his right hand and said to be out of danger. Police have registered a case against unknown persons.
According to police, two persons entered the dhaba at around 9.30pm and started checking the menu meanwhile, the third person arrived and he signalled them to get inside. The moment they entered the dhaba all of them pulled out guns and started firing indiscriminately. At the time of incident, several customers were inside the dhaba. One of the accused shot at dhaba’s manager, who was sitting on the cash counter and fled from the scene. The incident was recorded on CCTV camera.
Dhaba manager Kishan, who sustained injuries in the firing, said, "recently, a group of youth had argument and scuffle with our staff over drinking inside the outlet."
Doctors, who were treating Kishan said bullet had stuck in his hand passing through his stomach. “Bullet has been removed after an operation and he is stable now,” said Dr Nresh Sharma.
According to police, few unknown people entered the dhaba as a customer and flashed a gun and fired multiple rounds to threaten the employee of the shop. Four bullets were found from the spot, the police are checking CCTV footage to identify the accused.
“Police rushed to the spot soon after receiving information about the incident. Injured was taken to a hospital,” said police spokesperson Subhash Bokan, adding that a case has been registered under relevant sections.
