Amit Shah diagnosed with swine flu; wishes pour in on Twitter for speedy recovery

BJP's national chief Amit Shah is down with swine flu and is being treated at AIIMS in the national capital. Hope to get well soon, the BJP chief tweeted. 

"I have been diagnosed with swine flu for which the treatment is underway. With God's grace and good wishes from all of you, I will recover soon," he said on Twitter. 

According to sources at AIIMS, the BJP leader was admitted following complaints of chest congestion and breathing issues.

He reached the hospital at around 9 pm and is admitted in the old private ward of the hospital.

A team of doctors is monitoring his condition under the supervision of AIIMS director Randeep Guleria, they said.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh was among the first ones to react and tweeted Amit Shah that he will pray for his speedy recovery.

Union Minister Smirit Irani, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis & others too wished him speedy recovery on Twitter.
