It's not looking good! The Today show delivers more disappointing ratings with the new lineup - as Sunrise staff receive a congratulatory email for extending their lead
The Today show, which debuted its new hosting lineup on Monday, was quickly smashed in the ratings by rival Sunrise.
And things didn't improve on Tuesday, with figures for the second episode demonstrating that the gap between Today and Sunrise is widening even further.
While Channel Nine's breakfast program did grow its metro audience slightly (it was up 5,000 viewers to 202,000 in the five capital cities), Sunrise increased its lead even further by drawing 275,000 viewers, up from 266,000 on Monday.
