A carer has been accused of raping a young girl and filming the sex attacks to make child pornography.
A girl, 10, was allegedly sexually assaulted by her carer at a home in the Riverina, in the south-west of New South Wales.
Officers arrested a 79-year-old at Wagga Wagga Police station on Tuesday at about 3.40pm.

He was charged with four counts of producing child porn with a child and two counts of performing a sexual act with a child under the age of 14.
He was also charged with having aggravated sexual intercourse and sexually touching a child aged between 10-14.
Performing a sexual act to produce child pornography and bestiality were also part of the charges.

The 79-year-old was refused bail to appear at Wagga Wagga Local Court on Wednesday.
He was formally refused bail to re-appear at the same court on March 27.
The investigation was carried out by detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad in early January and is still continuing.
