Woman ends life after fight with hubby
TNN | Jan 17, 2019, 04:07 ISTVadodara: A 40-year-old married woman ended life by hanging self to a ceiling fan following an argument with her husband on Tuesday.
Police said that the deceased Renuka Thakur, who lives in Kadak Bazaar locality in Sayajigunj, had entered into arguments with her husband Surendra Singh Thakur on Tuesday. Renuka wanted to go to her aunt’s house as it was a holiday, but Surendra did not allow her to go. After a verbal altercation, Surendra walked out of the house with their son.
When Surendra returned home with his son in the evening Renuka did not open the door. Surendra then broke open the door and found his wife hanging to the ceiling fan inside the bedroom. He brought down Renuka’s body to rush her to hospital, but she had passed away.
Surendra later informed Sayajigunj police station about the incident. Police said that they have registered a case of accidental death and will take statements of the neighbours and relatives on Thursday.tnn
