Sake Dean Mahomed, born in 1759 Patna, was an Anglo-Indian traveller, entrepreneur and surgeon. He is one of the more well known non-European immigrants to the western world. Mahomed is known for being the one to introduce Indian cuisine as well shampoo baths to Europe. He is also famous for opening the first Indian restaurant in England. Sake Dean Mahomed was also the first Indian to publish a book in English
