PITTSBURGH, Jan. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Apollo, Pa., who is also an avid fisherman, was always looking for new ways to increase the number of fish he could catch in a given time period. After some creative thinking, he redesigned a standard fishing bobber to make that happen.
He developed REMOTE BOBBY to enable a fisherman to direct the movement of a fishing bobber remotely. His intention was to make fishing even more fun by increasing the likelihood of more successful catches. Built to withstand long-term use, this novel accessory is lightweight, compact and easy to operate, making it also ideal for children just learning to cast. Other appealing features are convenience, efficiency and an affordable price. In addition, its simple design minimizes production costs.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I love to fish and felt this would be a fun way to enhance the experience," he said. "So I decided to make it available to anyone else who enjoys this sport as well. It fits well for positioning and you don't have to recast. It's also great for hard-to-reach places and can be used by anyone, young and old. It makes fishing more fun."
The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
