Two sub-inspectors of the Annathanapatti police station, who assaulted an old man for refusing to give them free meat were shifted to the control room on Monday. Sub-inspectors Balasubramaniyam and Sivaperumal assaulted Mookuthi Gounder, 75, at his shop near the Annathanapatti bus on Sunday.
