Top Gear Teases Final Season With Matt LeBlanc

The Grand Tour returns to Amazon Prime Video on January 18th, but Top Gear fans are in for a treat as the BBC has released a new teaser video for the upcoming season.

Set to become Matt LeBlanc’s last, the 26th series of Top Gear will feature an assortment of different vehicles including the Fiat Panda Cross, Porsche Panamera, Rolls-Royce Phantom and Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The clip also suggests we can expect a race between the new Bentley Continental GT and the Bentley Speed 8 race car from the early 2000’s.

In typical Top Gear fashion, the latest series will also feature an assortment of other adventures including what appears to be a trip where the three co-hosts test drive rickshaws and then make boats out of them. There also appears to be an affordable used car battle as well as a stunt featuring wing suits.

The new season will hit televisions “soon,” but there’s no word on an exact date. Regardless of when the series airs, it will be the last featuring LeBlanc. Back in May, the former Friends star said working on the show has been “great fun” but the extensive travel kept him away from his family and friends too much.

While LeBlanc is a well known celebrity, his replacements aren’t as they’re comedian Paddy McGuinness and former cricketer Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff. That isn’t the only change as Rory Reid is also leaving, but will continue hosting Extra Gear.
