MUMBAI: Ghatkopar builder, Sanjay Agarwal, who committed suicide last week, was under tremendous pressure as he was being mentally tortured and was tired of demands for money from six flat buyers, said police.
Ten days after he shot himself, police booked the six under IPC sections for abetment to suicide and for exerting pressure, mental torture, extortion and intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace.
Police, on his son's Shitij's complaint, filed an FIR against Sanjay Vora, Jitendra Jain, Kalpesh Thakkar, Sachin Dholakia, Raj Vilas Gadkari and Kishore Shah last week. Police said they were collecting evidence from government offices to ensure conviction.
