Vasantotsav Vimarsh to be held in city on Thursday

PUNE: ‘Vasantotsav Vimarsh’, a much-sought-after activity at the Vasantotsav music festival, will feature renowned vocalist Pandit Shounak Abhisheki. Vasantotsav, the three-day music festival, which features the best of classical and fusion music from our country, will be held from January 18 to 20. Free passes for this event will be available from January 15.

Organised in association with Sakal Media Group with PN Gadgil and Sons as the title sponsor, the event is powered by Ravetkar Housing. 

Vasantotsav Vimarsh will be the curtain raiser event to this musical extravaganza and will be held on January 17 at Jyotsna Bhole Sabhagruha, Hirabaug, Pune. Entry is free to all musicians, students, and connoisseurs.

Abhisheki will deliver a special workshop on Bandishes composed by Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki in two sessions, i.e. morning session (11 am to 1 pm) and an afternoon session (3 pm to 5 pm).

Vasatotsav Vimarsh has been regularly organised by Vasantrao Deshpande Pratishthan since last four years.
