Ruth States: "While watching the Helsinki Summit this past July and observing the performance by, and dynamic between, our current president and the Russian president, the phrase 'one good turn deserves another' occurred to me as an apt description of the event.  Curious about the origin of that phrase, and wondering if by chance it might be Russian (it's not), my research yielded an unexpected and serendipitous treasure trove of Russian proverbs, dozens of which were uncannily relevant to my sentiments about our president and administration.  So began the Russian Proverbs series.

The Art Synergy exhibition is located in the Palm Beach Convention Center, 650 Okeechobee Blvd. West Palm Beach, FL, Booths 522 and 550.  The hours are: Thursday Jan. 17 - Saturday Jan. 19, 12:00pm - 7pm; Sunday January 20, 12:00pm-6:00pm.  The opening reception, on Wednesday January 16, 6:00pm 10:00pm, can be attended with purchase of a multi-day ticket to the show.  Click here to purchase tickets to the reception and the 4-day fair.

Ruth is a native New Yorker who recently relocated to South Florida, where she now lives and creates her art.  She has exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the North and Southeast, and her art is displayed in corporate and private collections throughout the US and Canada.  Corporate collections include the Intercontinental Hotels, AT&T, The Swiss Bank Corp., The Marriott, McDonalds, and Sullivan & Cromwell.
