Netflix is raising its prices.????The price hike will be between 13 and 18 percent, and in a first for Netflix, it will affect all of the online giant’s 58 Million subscribers in the United States.????It’s the largest price hike to date.????The price for its cheapest plan will increase from $8 a month to $9, and its most popular plan will increase to $13 from $11.????The most expensive plan, which includes 4K Ultra HD streaming will increase from $14 per month to $16.????????The company spent billions in 2018 warding off competitors and in producing acclaimed series like House of Cards, Orange is the New Black and Stranger Things, and has gotten into the movie business with Sandra Bullock hit Bird Box, and awards season contender Roma.??????In a statement, Netflix said:????“We change pricing from time to time as we continue investing in great entertainment and improving the overall Netflix experience.”????The new prices will affect new customers immediately, and will be phased in with existing accounts during the next three months.??
