PIMPRI CHINCHWAD: The civic body has proposed the development of 18 town planning (TP) schemes in 12 villages within its limits.Pimpri Chinchwad mayor Rahul Jadhav said the company appointed to prepare the detailed project report (DPR) made a presentation before the civic officials in Chinchwad on Thursday.
The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has proposed the schemes in Thergaon, Chikahli, Chinchwad, Charholi, Ravet, Kiwale, Punawale, Tathawade, Mamurdi, Dudulgaon, Moshi and Borhadewadi villages.
“The corporation develops the main roads, and not the internal ones in the villages, included in the development plan. As a result, many plots do not have access roads,” said Prakash Thakur, deputy director of the PCMC’s town planning department.
“The TP schemes are a good alternative,” he said.
