SpiceJet pilot leaves passengers in splits
The Kolkata-Bengaluru flight SG-658 was a merry one, as passengers were entertained by funny jokes that the pilot aboard cracked, along with his announcements. Mohit Rao, a passenger on the flight, tweeted that the welcome message from the pilot was, “our company is not doing so well right now, so thank you for flying with us,” and there was no stopping him after that. 
At the end of a matrimonial website announcement, the pilot said, “Happy marriages are a myth” and during the end of the Bengaluru-bound flight, he even remarked, “on your left is a gorgeous view of the International airport. It is complimentary for now, before they find a way to charge you for that too.” Many users on the internet have earmarked this incident, and are willing to pay an extra fare to fly with this pilot
US teens struggle to use rotary landline
Having received about 80,000 views, the hilarious video depicts two teenagers trying to figure out how to use the rotary landline. The four-minute long video uploaded by Kevin Bumstead shows two 17-year-old boys from Illinois struggling to dial numbers on a rotary landline after being used to the customary smart phone that just requires a tap, or sometimes just a voice instruction! After trying pretty hard, one boy is seen giving up and walking away from the video while another looks quite bewildered as he figures out how to work the ‘complex’ machine. Comments from viewers suggest giving youngsters floppy disks so they can struggle to operate that too!
Boutique displays mannequin in wheelchair
Beth Wilson, 36, who is disabled herself, snapped a picture of the mannequin seated at the display of the boutique in a wheelchair, and shared it on Twitter stating that this was a “first” and it made her “happy” to see such inclusivity. Ever since, this bridal boutique named The White Collect, located in Clevedon, North Somerset, UK has gained immense popularity over the internet. “It’s great that such things are becoming popular on the internet, it only means people favour inclusivity,” said Beth.
