BENGALURU: Heavy motor vehicles, including government buses, will be banned on Hosur Road elevated highway from Electronics City towards Silk Board junction Monday onwards due to the ongoing maintenance work.
Work had started on one side of the carriageway from Silk Board junction towards Electronics City on December 17, 2018, and has been completed now. But with maintenance work on the other side to start on Tuesday, heavy motor vehicles won’t be able to enter the flyover from Electro- nics City from Monday.
“We have completed one side (Silk Board junction to Electronics City) of work within 27 days instead of the targeted 35. The same work will commence from Tuesday on the other side of the highway. We request all bus operators, including BMTC, TNSTC and KSRTC and private ones to cooperate,” a Bangalore Elevated Tollway Pvt Lt note read. Tnn
