2 youths held for harassing woman
tnn | Jan 15, 2019, 00:29 ISTTirupur: Two youths were arrested for harassing a 34-year-old woman near Cheyyur in the district on Sunday.
The accused were identified as R Aravind, 18 and N Karthik, 19, both from Periyakanur. They allegedly abused their neighbour when she was washing clothes.
When she questioned them along her brother, the duo attacked him.
Cheyyur police booked the youths under various sections of IPC and the Tamil Nadu prohibition of women harassment act.TNN
