BROCKTON — Elizabeth Potenza: "Look up," she said, "there is more color than you ever imagined." is on display at the Fuller Craft Museum through Nov. 17.

This exhibition comprises three nebulous formations of interconnected aluminum rings that house multi-sized inverted glass domes. The three assemblies hang suspended from the ceiling so the viewer is enticed to look up as they walk below the installation. The clear glass domes, which have each been textured through sandblasting and glue chipping, refract shifting illuminations of color produced by an interconnected network of LEDs. The added sound element of the exhibition completes the immersive experience.

Born in southeastern New England, Potenza received her BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art in 2004. Afterwards, she spent two years apprenticing with master glassblowers Jan Erik Ritzman and Sven Åke Carlsson, in Transjö, Sweden, where she learned the traditional approach of Swedish glassblowing and gained an appreciation for the industrial history of glass. Potenza aspires to participate in a contemporary dialog concerning the interdisciplinary potential of art, industry, science and craft traditions. She received her MFA in 2015, and currently lives and works in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

The opening reception for this exhibit will be included in the winter exhibitions reception on Sunday, Feb. 3, from 2 to 5 p.m. Also celebrated during that opening will be the following exhibits: Donna Dodson: Zodiac; Felt: Fiber Transformed; Elizabeth Potenza: "Look up," she said, "there is more color than you ever imagined"; Mano-Made: New Expression in Craft by Latino Artists; Tom Kiefer: El Sueño Americano – The American Dream and Welcome Blanket
