Cathay Pacific is giving its flights to Paris a boost this summer with the service scheduled to go double daily starting July 2 following the addition of two extra weekly flights.
Hong Kong’s flag carrier flies between Hong Kong and Paris 12 times per week, including a daily Boeing 777-300ER service and a five-times-weekly Airbus A350-900 flight. The additional services, to be operated by the A350, will give travellers the option of two flights on Tuesdays and Fridays rather than just one, the airline’s online schedule shows.
The schedule for the added flights does differ from the other A350-operated services on the route, being closer in time to Cathay’s other daily flights on the route that it operates using its 777. Below is the schedule for the route as of early July.

Cathay Pacific configures its A350-900s with three classes, comprising 38 fully flat seats in business class, 28 seats in premium economy and 214 seats in the economy cabin.
The business class cabin, which is separated into a larger forward cabin of 30 seats and a smaller second section of just eight, is laid out in a 1-2-1 configuration providing direct aisle access to all passengers.
The premium economy cabin has a 2-4-2 configuration while economy class is laid out nine across in a 3-3-3 layout.

While the A350 doesn’t offer a first class cabin, the 777-300ER that operates the airline’s other daily flight on its Paris route does. These cabins are laid out with six seats in a 1-1-1 configuration across two rows.
Cathay Pacific’s Paris flights have featured the airline’s since October last year.
The new offering, which includes a room service-style ordering form for breakfast, and greater flexibility with when passengers receive their meals and when they are served, started rolling out in July and is expected to be available across its entire long-haul network by June this year.
