New law all set to give more power to the consumer

CHANDIGARH: The Consumer Protection Bill, 2018, which was recently passed by the Lok Sabha and is slated to replace the prevailing Consumer Protection Act of 1986 is set to have a widened approach and will certainly bring more relief to the consumers. Some new features have been introduced to fortify the consumer protection law. TOI takes a look at the highlights of the new Bill.
