PITTSBURGH, Jan. 14, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Diving in heavy rain, snow and sleet provides a challenge for conventional windshield washer sprayer systems and wiper blades. Despite their best efforts, they afford less than optimum visibility through the windshield. That is exactly why an inventor from Sheboygan, Wis., redesigned this standard automotive feature for better functionality.

He developed a prototype for CLEAR WIPE as a way to direct windshield washer fluid along the entire length of the wiper blade for more efficient cleaning. In other words, it dispenses fluid evenly on the viewing area of the glass, which is more efficient than standard sprayers installed in the hood or wiper arms. As such, it improves driver visibility, enhances highway safety and saves on windshield washer fluid. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced. It is easily adaptable and installed.

The inventor's professional experience inspired the idea. "While driving my truck, I can never get the windshield washer fluid to spray the entire radius of the wiper blade coverage area, which results in reduced visibility and dangerous driving conditions," he said.

The original design was submitted to the Milwaukee sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
