A director of a Welsh gold firm pleaded not guilty to drink driving and speeding.
Benjamin Sherbrooke Roberts, the managing director of Clogau Gold, was pulled over on the A55 at Broughton on Christmas Day.
He was driving his Porsche at the time he was pulled over by a policeman on a motorbike.
He denied being over the legal driving limit, and going at speeds of up to 95mph, when he appeared before magistrates in Flintshire today.
Craig McGregor, defending the 41-year-old, said experts would be called in his defence.
Roberts, of Llanrwst Road in Upper Colwyn Bay , was bailed ahead of a trial next month.
