FALL RIVER -- A girl and a second pedestrian were hit by a vehicle while walking along Eastern Ave. at about 6:45 a.m. Monday, according to police.

The girl, whose age was unknown Monday morning, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment, according to Detective John Robinson.

The second pedestrian, whose age and gender were unknown, was taken to a local hospital for treatment, he said.

Police were still photographing the scene just before 10 a.m., according to Robinson. The driver remained on scene, he said.
