Now that the world has almost stopped talking about Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul’s misogynistic comments on Koffee with Karan, Mumbai Police has come up to roast the cricketers. In their recent tweet Mumbai Police tweeted, ““A ‘Gentleman’ is a Gentleman, always and everywhere,” the tweet also consisted a picture which read, “How to be a great player? On Field: Maximum Score; Off Field: Maximum Respect for Women.”

As soon as the show aired fans were shocked to hear what the duo felt about women, this brought an outrage, where BCCI was forced to recall the duo in middle of the Australian tour. Both the cricketers are suspended till any further notice.
“Yes, Hardik and Rahul have submitted their reply to the fresh showcause notices that were served to them. They have tendered an unconditional apology. The CoA chief has instructed the CEO to conduct an inquiry as per clause 41 (c) of the new BCCI constitution,” a senior BCCI official told PTI.
However, Chief selector Kiran More recently revealed that Pandya has learnt his lessons from the mistakes he committed on the show, he said, “We all make mistakes and we all learn from them. He is new to international cricket and I am sure he has learnt his lessons [from this incident]. I am sure, he will be a changed person. We will have a heart-to-heart conversation once he is back. Hardik is a very nice guy and an honest person. He has reached this level purely on his talent and skills. He is a hard worker. His priority is cricket and that will never change till the time he is playing.”
