The hospitals run by the Church are models for social commitment, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan here on Saturday.

He was speaking at the function to present the Accreditation of the NABH (National Accreditation Board of Hospitals and Healthcare providers) to the Amala Institute of Medical Sciences here.

“The role of the hospitals run by the Church is vital in the well-known Kerala model health care,” he said. He also inaugurated the modernised gastroenterology department, palliative care centre and e-bus system of the hospital.
