Anyone looking to purchase the all-new BMW Z4 can now spec out their dream ride thanks to the sports car’s official online configurator. It’s also a fun way to spend a few minutes for anyone who can only dream of buying one.

The following configurator comes from the BMW USA website and, interestingly, only offers the option of customizing the entry-level Z4 sDrive30i. This, despite the fact that U.S. buyers can also opt for the more powerful, six-cylinder Z4 M40i.

Two variants of the Z4 sDrive30i are on offer. The first, dubbed Sport Line, starts at $49,700 and has a focus on understated looks. By comparison, the M Sport is much more aggressive and starts at $52,650. To this writer’s eyes, at least, it is by far the most attractive of the two.

In total, there are eight colors available for the 2019 Z4, but only five of these can be specified in the M Sport trim. Our personal favorites are Misano Blue Metallic and San Francisco Red, and buyers can also select between the Standard Black and the Moonlight Black soft top, both of which look identical, at least in the configurator.

When it comes to wheels, there are six different designs for the Z4 sDrive30i M Sport. There are also six interior configurations to choose from, five of which come standard with ambient lighting. High Gloss Black trim and aluminum interior trim is also available.

In terms of optional packages, the M Sport can be upgraded with the Convenience Package for $1450, the $500 Driving Assistance Package, BMW’s $1600 Premium Package, the $2500 Executive Package, and, last but not least, the $2450 Track Handling Package, which includes an M Sport Differential and M Sport Brakes.

Among the final options available are remote engine start, a heated steering wheel, wireless charging with WiFi hotspot, extended trim, heated front seats and active cruise control.
