Bhopal: A 16-year-old boy has been arrested for stabbing the 14-year-old boy on Thursday night. He has confessed to his crime but said that he only wanted to intimidate him. Police said that the accused (name withheld) allegedly had a row with deceased Aryan Tiwari over a girl and they had a fight over her few days back and on Thursday, the accused was called to the spot for a friendly conversation.
However, sources said the girl has no relation with any of the boys and they fought over her and one of them lost life.
The deceased was the only son of his parents and has one elder sister. His father is an advocate. The accused is son of an advocate.
According to police, accused was carrying knife as he feared for the clout of deceased Aryan as he was office bearer of a local committee in the area. As they were having conversation, few of their other friends were also there. At the time of incident, as they were having conversation he took out knife to attack him but was unaware that the injury would claim his life.
After seeing him bleeding, he ran away from the spot and the victim was taken to Sharda hospital where he died during treatment.
The incident created panic in the area and minister and local MLA PC Sharma reached the hospital to meet the kin of the injured. This is the second such incident in the recent times when an alleged love triangle has claimed a life. Ashoka Garden police had arrested a man on Wednesday for stabbing his friend in December for having a row over a girl.
