Shooting player Avinash Yadav earned gold

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh got a golden break in the shooting game on Friday in India Youth Games being played in Pune, Maharashtra. Gwalior shooting player Avinash Yadav presented a gold medal to Madhya Pradesh while performing brilliantly at the 10 meter air rifle event. Avinash Yadav earned this medal with a score of 250.9 in the under-17 boy’s category. Rajasthan players remained on second and third position.

Similarly, in under-21 50-kgs girl’s category wrestling competition, Chindwara wrestler Shivani Pawar defeated Maharashtra’s Swati in the semi-finals and earned silver medal in the final match. Haryana’s player was in first place.It is noteworthy that Shivani Pawar has received training of wrestling in Madhya Pradesh State Wrestling Academy.

On this achievement earned by Madhya Pradesh players in the India Youth Games, State Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Jitu Patwari congratulated medal winners while expressing happiness. He has appreciated the excellent performance of the players of the state.
