BMW M4 And Audi RS4 Go All Out On A Snowy Mountain Road At Night

Driving the right car on a slippery road has a calming effect for most, and a desire to start drifting for petroheads.

Both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive machines can be equally exciting at pushing the rear end out. And we have the perfect example to back our statement, in the form a video that shows an Audi RS4 Avant and a BMW M4 Coupe powersliding at will.

Shot a few days before Christmas in an undisclosed location, the footage displays the night run, with the rear-wheel drive M4 Coupe and the AWD RS4 Avant going all out.

Now, let’s talk specs. The M4 Coupe’s twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six puts out 431 PS (425 hp / 317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. It hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.3 seconds with the manual gearbox, or 0.2 seconds quicker with the DCT.

The RS4 Avant depicted on the clip is a B8 generation model, which means that it has a naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8. This sonorous engine pumps out 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque, allowing the super estate to sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds, officially.

So, we’re talking about two very powerful sports cars that, naturally, take some nerve and driving skills to be driven like that. Nevertheless, we wouldn’t recommend practicing your drifting/powersliding skills on public roads, as things can get out of control in the blink of an eye and endanger both yourself and other road users and/or pedestrians.
