Food processing machinery show from January 16

Nagpur: Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA) will hold a food processing machinery show at Mihan Exhibition Ground at 6pm daily from January 16 to 18.
Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will grace the occasion.

Addressing a press conference, VIA chairman Arun Khobragade and secretary Suhas Buddhe said the show is designed to be a one stop platform for entrepreneurs and food processors to network and meet with machine suppliers, service providers, consultants and allied industry exhibitors.

The event will be of help in creating and expanding business opportunities in food industry and to widely introduce information on the latest trends worldwide and have a glimpse of the latest technologies in the sector.

Rahul Bhojwani and Yashwant Bhojwani said Vidarbha is home to national and international brands in food processing segment which will be showcased at ‘Stars of Vidarbha’ pavilion. The show will also host a conference on themes of importance to Vidarbha such as diary, rice industry, finance schemes for food processing sector and latest trends in fruit and vegetable sectors.


VIA vice-president RB Goenka, treasurer Girish Deodhar and Tushar Aggrawal were present.


VIA has appealed to the youths to visit Mihan exhibition and understand the dynamics of the food processing sector.
