Couple arrested for possession of ganja
Jan 12, 2019, 23:33 ISTCoimbatore: The city police on Friday arrested a married couple for possession of 2kg of ganja for sale. A police team had picked up Murugan and his wife Jaya, who hailed from Theni, from Sowripalayam in the city. Preliminary inquiry revealed that they used to smuggle ganja from Theni and supplied it to college students here. They were jailed several times for selling the contraband, police sources said. Police have lodged them in the Coimbatore Central Prison. TNN
