Ahmedabad: 3 held for placing bets on T-20 cricket match played in Bangladesh

AHMEDABAD: Crime Branch sleuths on Friday arrested three persons for allegedly placing bets on a T-20 cricket match being played in Bangladesh.
The arrested persons have been identified as Aashish Patel, Kirit Patel and Ramesh alias Dada.
Crime Branch source said Kirit Patel and Ramesh alias Dada, had made different user ids on Safari web browser and were placing bets online.
Officials said they raided a place near Padmavati Society at Naroda following a tip off late on Friday evening and nabbed the accused.
