Ex-MP Jawahar Jaiswal arrested from MP's Damoh

(Representative image)VARANASI: Former MP and liquor barron Jawahar Jaiswal has been arrested in Damoh (MP) by UP STF with the help of local police.
SP Damoh Vivek Agrawal said that a team of UP STF and Damoh cops nabbed Jaiswal in joint action. UP STF team has left Damoh with Jaiswal, he added.
Jaiswal was being searched by UP police as a non-bailable warrant had been issued against him in Mahesh Jaiswal murder case that took place in 2012.
Jaiswal kept dodging Varanasi police despite rejection of his bail plea in high court, said police.
