Ahmedabad: Cops nab drunk woman for indecent behaviour

Representative image.AHMEDABAD: A 22-year-old woman from the Anandnagar area of the city was caught by police late on Thursday night, for allegedly making obscene gestures while drunk, outside her residence. Her conduct did not go down well with her neighbours, who called the cops and filed a complaint against her.
Sources in Anandnagar police said residents of Anandnagar Flats on Thursday night called police about a drunk woman who was making obscene gestures and using abusive language. When a woman neighbour asked her to quieten up, she began abusing her and dared her to call the cops.
An Anandnagar police team reached the spot and nabbed the woman, who runs a spa in the Gurukul area. A head constable with Anandnagar police, K K Dungaria, who is investigating this case, said that the woman was booked for violating prohibition laws and indecent behaviour in public.
