Aircel Maxis: Need one more week to collate new evidence, say ED & CBI

The CBI and ED informed a special court on Friday that sanction to prosecute all accused public servants in the Aircel-Maxis case has been filed. The agencies, however, sought a week to complete the collation of "newly gathered" evidence. Special judge O P Saini granted the agency time while extending till February 1 the interim protection from arrest granted to former Union minister P Chidambaram and his son, Karti, in the Aircel-Maxis cases.
