The said Friday that it killed two terrorists and seized a huge cache of weapons and explosives during a raid on militant hideouts in the restive southwestern province.

The operation was conducted by the paramilitary (FC) in Kalat, Kharan and Maiwand areas, it said.

"Two terrorists have been killed during an intelligence based operation conducted by FC," the said.

The security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition, including sub machine guns, improvised explosive devices, grenades, mines, rockets and communication equipment, it said.
