India will launch its first manned space mission, Gaganyaan, in late 2021, and space agency Isro wants woman astronauts to be in it.
Isro chief K Sivan announced a timeline for the Gaganyaan missions on Friday at a news conference in Bengaluru. Unmanned missions are scheduled for December next year and July 2021. The manned mission is scheduled for December 2021.
