Opel ended off 2018 by selling a total of 185 cars in December, spearheaded by the Corsa with 80 units. 

The Williams Hunt group has been the automaker's distributor in South Africa since January 2018 and launched a raft of crossovers over the last 12 months. 

Crossovers performed well

The Grandland X and Crossland X are two of those models and they sold 24 and 35 units respectively. Opel reported 20 sales of the smaller Mokka X, the same number as the Astra hatchback.

Just six units of the automaker's smallest and cheapest model, the Adam, were sold.
