Jail inmate’s daughter tricked by three, gang-raped

GREATER NOIDA: A 20-year-old daughter of a rape-accused lodged in Luksar jail in Greater Noida was allegedly gang-raped by three men who lured her by promising to get bail for her father.
The rape survivor had filed an FIR at Mayur Vihar Phase 3 police station on December 12, which has been transferred to Ecotech-1 police station in Greater Noida, under whose jurisdiction the crime took place.

According to the rape survivor, the crime took place in August when a youth, identified as Bobby, allegedly contacted her with a deal to get her father out of jail. “On August 24, I went to see my father at Luksar jail in Greater Noida and told him about what Bobby had told me. On my way home, I met Rahul, whom I knew beforehand, as he had once come home with my father. He told me that Bobby had asked him to pick me up. So I went with him in his car and he took me to a room,” the rape survivor wrote in her complaint.

Once inside the room, the three men allegedly raped her one by one and later got her into an auto-rickshaw and sent her back home. “I was terrified. So did not tell anyone about it. However, they called me again after some time and said they had made obscene videos of mine. They blackmailed me and molested me again and even extorted money from me,” the woman wrote in her complaint.

Vineet Jaiswal, SP (rural) told TOI that the father of the rape survivor is in Luksar jail. “We have recorded the statement of the survivor. The accused are known to the father of the survivor who is in jail for an alleged rape in Sector 24 police station area. We are looking for the accused and they will be arrested soon,” said Jaiswal.
