A man is in a critical condition after he was stabbed while getting his hair cut in what police believe was a targeted attack.
Emergency crews were called to a hair salon on Mimosa Rd in Sydney's west about 12.40pm on Friday.
The man, 20, was reportedly stabbed in the neck or upper chest by a helmet-wearing assailant.

The man stumbled outside to the street where he collapsed, Fairfax reported.
The victim was in cardiac arrest on the pavement outside the salon when investigators and paramedics arrived at the scene.
The man underwent emergency surgery.

An investigation into the incident is underway and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
