£1.5 million awarded to brain tumor researchers to extend lab-based research into clinical trials

Brain tumors kill more people under the age of 40 than any other cancer and less than 20% of those diagnosed survive beyond five years, compared to 50% of all other cancers. New funding from Barts Charity will help researchers get closer to a cure.
