Lotto officials have let Australians angling for a piece of tonight's enormous $80 million Powerball jackpot in on the numbers that are most likely to be drawn.

The Powerball number has the highest worth and customers are urged to choose 3, 13 and 19- the most frequently drawn numbers from the Powerball barrel.

Participants are also advised to choose numbers 29 and 32, as they have been frequently drawn from the main barrel.

Punters have been warned to avoid choosing numbers 1, 2, 4 or 18 because they haven't made an appearance in the last 18 months.

Lotto officials have advised participants choose numbers 3, 13, 19, 29 and 32 if they want to win $80 million in the Powerball draw

10, 11 and 12 are among other cold numbers.

If the large sum is won by one ticketholder, they would break the record for the country's biggest win of $70 million.

The record-breaking winners were grandparents from Hervey Bay in Queensland in January 2016.

Lottery officials are urging Aussies to get their tickets quick with long queues expected.

Alternatively, tickets can be purchased online or through the Oz Lotteries app.
