'I actually just went, "typical, that would be right",' Mel Brauer told Seven News.
Ms Brauer and her husband believed this might be the end for the wandering feline as it's now strike number three.
Local veterinarian Louise Pierce said brown snakes and tiger snakes are the biggest threats for household pets in Victoria.
Hank is extremely lucky to still be alive, as Ms Pierce said it can be very fatal very quickly.
Luckily, Ms Brauer and her husband are willing to pay whatever it takes to keep Hank with them.

'We must appear the silliest people on earth. We are cat people through and through and we would probably pay it again,' Ms Brauer said.
Ms Pierce suggests pet owners keep their pets as predominantly indoor animals.
'Ideally at this day and age i suggest having cats as predominantly indoor pets or building an enclosed cat run where you know they're going to be safe,' Ms Pierce said.
The couple are now keeping Hank inside but fear he may leave the house to explore and come across more snakes.
