Bihar common entrance exam scrapped; 2019 admissions through JEE Main, NEET

In a recent notification released, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced that the admission for various engineering programmes and medical courses in the state will be held on the basis of JEE Main scores and NEET scores respectively.
Earlier, the BCECEB used to conduct Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) for admission to engineering and medical courses.
The Board has advised the candidates willing to take up engineering and medical courses in state institutions to appear for JEE Main 2019 for engineering admission and NEET 2019 exam for medical admissions.
The candidates who lost the chance to apply for JEE Main January 2019 exam can apply for JEE Main April 2019 examination.
However, the application process for NEET 2019 exam has already closed and the next examination will be conducted on May 5, 2019.
